This one-of-a-kind necklace centers around a Venetian glass focal bead, paired with a soft, layered palette of pinks, rose tones, and subtle neutrals. The strand moves through candy jade, rose quartz, and strawberry quartz, creating a gentle gradient that feels warm, romantic, and grounded.
An agate slice anchors the pendant section, finished with a three-tiered tassel that adds movement and texture. Upcycled guitar string ball ends are woven into the design, connecting the piece back to its musical roots. Hand-knotted on silk cord and finished with a brass toggle clasp, this necklace is assembled entirely by hand from materials gathered across different places and moments.

ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
This piece began with the Venetian glass bead at its center. I found it in Murano after spending hours searching for glass bead makers, unsure if I would find one at all. The bead comes from a multi-generational maker, which made it feel even more meaningful to build a piece around it.
From there, the necklace grew into a composition of soft pinks and layered textures. Candy jade from a small bead shop in Santa Cruz, faceted rose quartz, and strawberry quartz create a natural rhythm of color. The agate slice, sourced in Boulder, Colorado, adds contrast and grounding to the pendant.
The tassel brings movement and softness, while the guitar string ball ends tie the piece back to the music that runs through everything I make. Each section is hand-knotted on silk cord, allowing the materials to sit naturally and giving the necklace a fluid drape.

This necklace combines natural stones, glass, brass, and upcycled elements, so gentle care will help preserve it over time. Store it in a small sealed bag when not in use to slow natural tarnishing. Keep it away from water, perfumes, and lotions. Wipe gently with a soft cloth if needed.
