HAWAIIAN SUNRISE SHELL NECKLACE
$165.00
This handcrafted necklace features a Hawaiian Sunrise Shell pendant suspended from a circular guitar string element made from upcycled strings we have played on stage. The strand combines a curated mix of gemstones, freshwater pearls, shell, and glass for a soft, layered palette of blush, cream, and ocean tones. Finished with a gold-plated toggle closure, this piece is one of a kind and assembled by hand using globally sourced and reclaimed materials.
ONE OF A KIND
ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
This necklace brings together found elements, natural materials, and a sense of place. The Sunrise Shell was sourced from a small shop along the Road to Hana in Maui and has long been associated with rarity and significance in Hawaiian culture.
The beaded strand includes a mix of banded agate, freshwater pearls, heliodor, blue lace agate, rhodochrosite, ocean jasper, shell, sea glass, and glass beads. A circular guitar string element connects the pendant to the strand, tying the piece back to its musical roots.
It is lightweight for its size and designed as a statement piece that can be worn simply or layered.
PRODUCT CARE
Guitar strings are made of mixed metals including copper, brass, bronze, and nickel, so some natural tarnishing may occur over time. To slow this process, store your necklace in a small sealed plastic bag when not in use. Keep it away from lotions, perfumes, and moisture to preserve the metal and beads. Wipe gently with a soft cloth if needed.
