This one-of-a-kind necklace centers around a smooth banded agate focal bead, paired with a soft, neutral palette of sandalwood, moonstone, and subtle glass accents. The tones move between warm, earthy browns and cool, pale blues, creating a balance that feels calm and grounded.
Blue moonstone and faceted glass beads add light and dimension, while sandalwood brings warmth and texture. A three-tiered tassel finishes the piece with gentle movement, and upcycled guitar string ball ends tie it back to its musical roots. Hand-knotted on silk cord and finished with a gold-plated toggle clasp.

ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
This piece began with the banded agate focal bead, which I found in Brooklyn about ten years ago in a bead shop that was going out of business. I picked up pieces I would not normally have been able to afford at the time, and I am still slowly working through that collection.
The rest of the necklace came together through materials gathered over time. Sandalwood beads from the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show bring a warm, grounding element, while blue moonstone and faceted glass beads add softness and light.
The design is simple and intentional, with each section hand-knotted on silk cord to give the necklace a natural drape. The guitar string ball ends connect it back to the music that runs through all of this work.
PRODUCT CARE
This necklace combines natural materials, plated metals, and upcycled elements, so gentle care will help preserve it over time. Store it in a small sealed bag when not in use to slow natural tarnishing. Keep it away from water, perfumes, and lotions. Wipe gently with a soft cloth if needed.
