ABOUT THESE EARRINGS
These earrings began with the sunburst charms. The turquoise enamel centers reminded me of clear desert skies, while the radiating antique silver texture gave them the feel of something sun-worn and collected along the way.
I shaped upcycled nickel bronze guitar strings into elongated droplets, allowing their warm metallic tone to contrast with the silver-plated charms. Hammered ear wires complete the design, while the guitar strings connect the earrings back to the music that runs through all of my work.
