ABOUT THESE EARRINGS
These earrings began with the small rectangular charms, whose saturated color and gold frames reminded me of tiny panes of colored glass.
I shaped upcycled 80/20 bronze guitar strings into elongated droplets to frame the charms, allowing the winding of the strings to echo the warm gold finish. The finished design feels graphic and a little Art Deco, while the guitar strings keep its musical history visible.
